Our fabric is sold by the full roll, and every roll is listed with its exact length. That makes planning simple: work out what your project needs, then pick a roll that covers it, with a little spare for matching a pattern and for mistakes.
These are rough guides for fabric about 140 cm wide. Your pattern always has the final say, so check its fabric requirements before you buy.

Three things worth knowing
One roll means one dye lot. Every roll shows its roll ID and dye ID, so the colour matches from the first metre to the last. If you need more than one roll, check that the dye IDs match.
Allow for pattern matching. Large prints and stripes use more fabric than a small print, because pieces have to line up.
Wash before you cut. Cotton and linen can shrink, so give them a first wash, then buy a little extra if you are close to the line.
